LGT is increasing its collaboration with the scientific community, focusing on behavioural finance and quantitative finance. In these disciplines LGT can build on existing expertise and an excellent reputation, especially in the asset management division.

Within these disciplines the sponsorship for scientists will be increased, student prizes awarded and academic sabbaticals for LGT employees initiated. The project LGT and Science was inspired by successful models in the pharmaceuticals industry and represents a long term commitment on the part of LGT to scientific collaborations.
